Don't need to edit, just need to be able to view and print .png files

Pretty sure windows has one built in. Well at least on XP. And a web browser can view them.
 
Yeah, should come with any modern OS, or just use a browser.

I personally use IrfanView.

Ya I usually use IrfanView but it can't seem to open some pngs I'm working on right now. I'm looking for another viewer to test and make sure the files are corrupt/broken.

I know you said you don't need to edit, but PAINT.net can open those files.
 
Windows 7 definitely has one built in and any browser should be able to do it. Why would other programs be necessary? Although identify.exe sounds pretty nice.
 
Thanks for all the suggestions. identify.exe sounds like it woud be very handy in my line of work.
