Are Patriot brand SDHC memory reliable?

Hello. I am looking for two 16GB Class 6 SDHC memory cards. Google says Amazon is the place to go to get this. Normally, I would buy SanDisk, PNY, Lexar, etc. memory cards, but I need to save a bit of money and the for the for sure higher quality cards are double+ the cost.

I Have heard about Patriot memory for computers and they are reliable from what I was told. I was wondering if that holds true for their memory flash based cards. Has anyone had any problems with lost/corrupt data with Patriot brand cards?

I have never had a problem with them per say, but they will be slower. If speed is a non-issue, go for it.

Patriot is generally a fine brand.
