Hi,

I own a HD5770 from Club3D that is overclocked a bit by default, not much, and it's supported I suppose since they sell it that way.

What I was wondering, how hot are GDDR5 RAM chips allowed to get? I cant measure it but when I touch them during gaming, they really cant be described as "warm", but surely as "hot".

I only have about 5mm room to the HSF of my CPU, so I can't install any cooling components I guess? (The HSF is not even warm by the way, it's huge, so that's not a heat problem)

I believe the voltage regulation modules are usually the hottest parts. You can check for yourself using http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/
I wouldn't worry unless something goes above 100 degrees C. Even then, you may have no problems at all. Artifacts/crashes are the real indicators of a problem!
