I can just hear my name being called next year when they announce the Pulitzer Prize winners. Don’t laugh, the requirements are low enough now that I think I have a shot. ;)

The Pulitzer board changed its entry requirements a year ago to allow entries from Internet-only publications in all 14 journalism categories if the Web site was "primarily dedicated" to original news reporting. The board said Wednesday it will drop that requirement. The board will also allow entries from Web sites that primarily publish commentary and links to other sites.

HardOCP being the first Pulitzer prize winning hardware site would be pretty nice. ;)

With the over all declining quality of journalism in the world, as well as the increase in numbers of internet journalists, it makes sense.

if you don't get a pulitzer, just say something snazzy and you may atleast get a Nobel
