I have for sale the Sony Fw900 . It is in Grade B condition . Works great but has the G2 issue which i can not fix. Let me know if anyone is interested and i will post pictures and put out my name tag. No popping , converging issues , just overly bright , good contrast.

Great price for a great monitor. Did you ever try windas to fix the brightness?
 
no i never used windas.
There is a small scratch on the bottom of the screen and some of the anti glare has been rubbed off.
The bezal has been written on with a pencil and is scratched in a few places.
It works fine at max res but has the brightness issue.
 
i remember when these were selling at MSRP, whew

post it on craigslist under free before you toss it; i did that with my older monitor and it was picked up from the curb within 30 minutes.

it was actually pretty amusing to watch

That's what I was going to suggest too. Dang! In the trash? The problem is shipping because it'lll cause more damage if not properly padded and the expense. I'll forget about shipping and try to sell it locally. You could alway tell the buyer you can take off the ant-glare screen too and it'll look like new. Good luck!
