And the beat goes on… Apple is accusing Psystar, the embattled Mac-clone maker, of destroying “relevant evidence that it was legally required to preserve.” The evidence in question is software code that infringes on Apple IP and was allegedly overwritten by Psystar on systems sold to customers.

Although Psystar has yet to publicly comment on the above-mentioned allegations, the Mac clone manufacturer continues to maintain that Club Cupertino's OS X copyright doesn't "give Apple the right" to dictate terms of service.

Danm, I never thought there would be an issue i couldn't bash apple on, but this appears to be one of them

I bet Apple is still wondering why it hasn't squashed Psystar yet. :p

If the "evidence" was destroyed, how can Apple prove it ever existed?
Apple is just pissed that a company was able to provide a product that many Apple fans want. Something that is affordable.

Psystar needs to go national with ads saying "I'm a Mac too, and cost as much as a PC only".

That they do. Maybe not a lot of sense though.

It never a good idea to ignore a court order and delete data that you were told to keep.

That there can destroy any chance that they actually had with this entire case.
