I know its an i7 Dual core with, 4MB...

The W3503 and W3505 do not come with HT enabled.

However GB X58 UD3R f2 bois works with this CPU and the MSI Plat-SLI Picked it up also.

Cheap solution for an i7 tech setup...

Thanks
John

I picked it up along an Asus deluxe V1 that had a couple of pins that needed set in place. but for $100 bucks I figure why not... worst case I need a MB best case I have a dual core i7 set for $240... I have an extra set of ram from my 920 build... I guess I will report back when I have it up and running...

Does the BIOS support a Dual Core i7?

I do not know yet, but if everything goes well... its a nice option for people that do not want to spend the $$ on a quad/MB i7.... so I guess I will know more this weekend... even if the MB is FUBAR I can still drop the chip in my MSI...

Thanks

Well update. My msi play found the CPU without issue. :). So I have the p6t del fixed and running with my 920. So worked out great

I got a W3503 off eBay and it worked fine on my Bloodrage GTI with its original bios...
(lol, bit of a power hog for a dual core though)

W's are a bit heavy on the power side, I'd probably just save my pennies and get a regular E chip, the power savings might pay off if you keep the box for a few years.

I didnt know there were any other 1366 pin cpus to get.
(at the time it was between the $100 W3503 or a $300 920)
