Going from Single Disk to RAID0 on 780i?

So the last time I went through the process of going to a RAID0 array, it was when I had to reinstall my OS anyways. Right now, I've got a single drive with my OS on it. I've also got two empty and formatted drive ready to be put into RAID 0. I'm wondering if its possible to migrate my current OS onto the RAID array with minimal effort.

Here's what I'd like to be able to do:
*Create the RAID 0 array
*Copy the entire single disk onto the array using Paragon
*Resize the RAID 0 array with partitions for better organization (i.e. 200GB on an OS partition, the rest as a media partition).

Will this plan allow for booting from the RAID 0 array? Or will the creation of a bootable RAID 0 array require installation of drivers first?

What I would prefer NOT doing:
*Create a backup of the full OS via Vista Ultimate's backup program
*Create RAID0 array
*Boot into Vista Restore and restore the OS

What I would REALLY not prefer doing:
*Create a bootable RAID0 array
*Re-install Windows and lose all configuration settings.

If you feel confident you can resize the partitions with ease after the fact, you can simply do a raw bit for bit copy using any low level copy and raw conversion tool. I use "dd" for such a task, which is a Linux based tool. You could use a live linux disk to do such in your scenario.

You must have equal or greater target drive size when doing such.

So yeah, got back from my partitioning adventures:
4 hrs to take my 750GB disk (then only 250GB filled) and compact the OS down to a partition that's 270ish GB.
Then it took another 4hrs to copy that partition onto a blank space in my 1.5TB RAID array

Paragon has an option that allows you to move one partition to another one, as long as the 2nd partition's FREE space is greater than the consumed space of the original partition. I decided to play it safe though, and manually shrink OS partition to ensure that the files are compacted and not split apart, as I've previously lost about 5 months of new music and had to re-rip a bunch of my DVDs when I killed a partition while trying to migrate disks.
