Plants vs Zombies $7.50 on Steam

bought, the demo was too much fun and it's a killer at work game.
 
Great game, bought it for $10 on steam on launch. Certainly worth it.
 
I got it on steam launch as well - definitely worth the $10 and I would have paid $15+. It also plays very well with a touch screen/stylus tablet set-up (something to consider for demos or just to show off :p).
 
Doesn't beat Zombie Panic: Source. ZPS is free as long as you own a source game.
 
Decent game. I think it's overrated because it isn't challenging enough. Worth the money but not a must buy.

It gets harder. The first time you play through the campaign is only the beginning.
 
zombie panic source is horrible ~ the counter-strike source zombie server mods are much much better if you want to play something like that
 
second the fact that its the ultimate AT WORK game, the windows button pops you out of the game in a split second AND IT PAUSES THE GAME FOR YOU!!!! what genious!!!!!

Yeah, the original HL mod was fun with its niche community but ZP:S is just horrible. On topic, PvZ is an excellent 2D Action/Strategy game and it's not an FPS game at all bfellow. :D
 
hmm, I'm tempted at this price ;)

and please quit comparing every game with "zombie" in its title to this game, this is like a side-scrolling tower defense game. What's the point of even mentioning FPS games in this thread?
 
Free with a one month trial of realarcade if you're into that kind of thing.
 
I picked it up played through the first 8 levels or so, don't even think a zombie has attacked one of my units yet, hoping it gets much harder/unique.

Every popcap game pauses when it looses focus, I don't think it was specifically meant for work-dodgers.
 
Played the demo last night for about 50 minutes after reading all the positive comments here and I'm glad I did because I didn't find the game to be very fun. Not a bad deal if you're into the game, though.
 
So far the night time and backyard pool add a much needed dynamic. The MJ zombie is good for a lulz or 2

I like both of them but ZPS only one with hardcore zombie mode!
 
Just wait till you do the pogo stick level on the roof where its all pogo stick guys, I was so mad at the game, I bet it took me 30 tries. So I leave work, go home, and beat it on the 1st try imagine that.
 
No! They raised the price! Just when I'd convinced myself to throw down $7.50, they want $10!!

And now if I buy @ $10 it'll go on sale tomorrow for $5, you watch!
 
Then sacrifice yourself so everyone else who wants it can get it at half price. ;)
