Guitar Hero : Aerosmith and a Wired Xplorer controller for $9.99 at Gamestop B&M. You may have to ask a rep to get the deal.

Sorry if this has been posted already.

I picked it up for 360. Not sure about ps3.
 
this is how much it should have been new, very easy compared to other GH games, seems dumbed down, which for some might be good, lol,, and very limited set list
 
There is a stackable coupon/promotion that isn't being advertised. The promotion offer is, when you buy Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, you get a wired Xplorer for free. This promotion has been going on for a while, prior to the game going on sale April 5th.

All you have to do is buy both Guitar Hero: Aerosmith and a wired Xplorer, and the promotion will be automatically applied at the register. I can confirm this deal is valid because I work at GameStop and I took advantage of this deal on Sunday. I bought the game and guitar for $10 for my brother.

I made my purchase in-store, so I can't confirm if this deal works online.
 
None of my local Gamestop's have the guitar according to the website. I'd have to drive an hour to get to the nearest one that does have it in stock.

Barely even seems worth it for a band I'm not at all interested in.

I guess I'll stick with my $8 Toys R Us deal.

My local game stop wasn't running this sale. However, they did have GH2 and GH3 for $9.99 (xbox 360). That may be the new price as it was a normal sticker on the box...
 
While I dont play GH my daughter just loves it. So, since I was near the mall today I stopped in and got it for her. The guy at the counter didnt know anything about it. He scanned it in after I told him and sure enough, FREE guitar!

(BTW This was at Madison Wisconsin East Towne Mall)
 
Confirmed! $10 for Aerosmith game and wired xplorer guitar for XBOX360 only! The game for the Wii is $10 and guitar is $25.
 
well I remembered the 360 guitar works for the PC, so I went back to gamestop, bought two of the bundles for a total of $21 after taxes, and now I'm downloading Frets on Fire!
 
I didn't realize the guitar was included, I stopped by Gamestop on whim over my lunch break and saw Aerosmith, I jokingly asked if a guitar was included and the rep said "yup." I just stood there for a second and said "Yeah, I'll take one."

called around and the game is 10 bux but the guitar is regular price for Wii. will the rock band guitar work for for this game? anyone knows?
 
BB had the wireless Les Paul guitar for $20 a week or two ago. I tried to find a link, but couldn't (was front page of slickdeals). Looks like it may have gone back up to $50 - not sure about in-store. I'd much rather have the wireless than the wired. I'm not trying to threadcrap though. Just though I'd offer an alternative. Just can't be $10 though! :)

Make sure you have a fairly new pc for GH:A. My 8800GT and Q6600 struggled a little until I overclocked the CPU (1080p). Poor coding.

Odd, my laptop with a 1.6GHz Turion X2 and a GeForce 7600 plays Guitar Hero III and Guitar Hero Aerosmith just fine.

Sounds like something is seriously wrong with your system.

GH3 was fine for me - it's Aerosmith. I'm not the only one, because many of the reviews also mentioned the same issues. Do you have the settings turned all the way up? The other thing that annoys me is the stupid battery icon that stays on the entire time. My HTPC is connected to a UPS (battery), and there is no way to disable that. Not good for a plasma screen (possible screen burn-in)... I guess I can send an invoice for a new TV to Aspyr? ;)
 
The graphics card in the laptop is a little weak, so it's running medium settings @ 1440x900.

GH III and GH Aerosmith both perform the same as far as I can tell; it's the same game engine, even the mod tools for GH III work with Aerosmith. There's no real reason for Aerosmith to perform worse, barring simply having more objects on-screen at once.
 
I've already got a wireless Les Paul guitar, I was kind of glad this one was wired. I'm thinking about getting an XFPS (or whatever it's called) adapter so I can use a PS2 controller for fighting games on my 360 and you have to have a wired controller to use the XFPS, the guitar will work.
 
Is it an unadvertised special or something? I've stopped in and they've got it priced at $30 for a new copy and $25 for used... two different stores in the area.
 
Call your local gamestop, I picked up a 2nd set on Friday. Called before hand and he said thy still had 'em.

The $9.99 Guitar Hero Aerosmith is advertised, but the guitar deal isn't.

I picked up the game yesterday, too bad I didn't see this thread before then or I would have gotten the guitar too. And I already opened the game, so not sure if they can do anything for me now. Darn.
