February 11, 2009 — The recently announced Left 4 Dead Downloadable Content (L4D DLC) will be delivered to Xbox 360 and PC gamers free of charge.

Due for release this spring, the DLC for 2008's best-selling new game property on the PC and Xbox 360, is dubbed the L4D Survival Pack and introduces a new multiplayer game mode entitled, Survival, plus two complete campaigns for Versus Mode (Death Toll, Dead Air). A Critic's Choice Edition of the game will be heading to retail stores this spring, and will include access to all the content introduced in the L4D: Survival Pack.

Left 4 Dead is a survival action game from Valve that blends the social entertainment experience of multiplayer games such as Counter-Strike and Team Fortress with the dramatic, narrative experience made popular in single player action game classics such as the Half-Life series of games. Released in November of 2008, L4D has earned over 25 industry awards from outlets around the world.

I could do that...although later today since it's 4:56 am ATM where I am.
 
I'm all for more friends or groups... After last nights grief session (3 or 4 times in a row, totally different players based on SteamId) I will only play co-op with friends, no more random people.

First this dude named Thunder Penis joined, waited 5 minutes, and shot us all. Then two other guys joined and shot us all just about right away. Last but not least, a fourth player named 'I team kill... Often' joined and said not to worry about his name. After we cleared the map and got to the safe room, he shot us as we ran in. I don't remember what map it was now, but it was on expert for certain.
 
Man I would get annoyed at that. But I have to admit I lol'ed at the last one. I team kill actually tk'ed. My steam id is buckenatoptonline.net. Obviously replace at with @.

Though the idiot part with the last guy was on us. He ran to the safe room ahead of us and the pulled out a molotov. I said "hold up" we waited for a like 10 seconds and then went. The whole time I stood there and said to myself we need to kick this guy now. Semaj also said he was thinking the same thing. Stupid us, didn't vote kick.

We were having a great game until then....

I bought it during the sale but am still a noobie. I think a folk or 2 added me. I am going to start playing some more by the weekend for sure. I had no idea what I was getting into. I take it you want to have a good hour and a half on your hands to finish a chapter right?

I fired it up solo to try it first. I realized there was no saving and the gist of this was to play online. Realizing I didn't want to play what it would take to finish chapter 1, I finished half and went on to play something I could play for 20 minutes. I've gotten into games you can't play only briefly, am I correct this is one of those?
