Sorry Larpers aren't geeks. Geek implies at least some social skills in the outside world. Those are flat out nerds, they lack any social skill at all and thank god have a zero % chance at ever getting laid.

The guy on the bike seems to have a Bullhorn. I wonder if he is alerting people the car is coming. If not, that is one weird town....I must visit soon....

LOL! My supervisor just said this to me about LARP'ers and the Geek hierarchy:

IT People -> Gamers (Madden football and the like) -> Halo gamers -> -> WOW and the like -> Dungeons and Dragons -> LARPers

So if this is correct then we should have no issues at mocking them. :D
 
Gotta love em. One time I was doin a little backpacking (before I knew of LARPing) and passed by a 20+ group of people dressed as elves with swords and the like. Didn't know wtf was going on at the time, until I happened upon their 'epic' battle about a half mile down the trail. I stopped and talked to em and apparently the elves I passed were going around for a sneak attack or somethin. They gave me a beer, it was a good day.

Dude, I've been to shitsburg and that generality is pretty spot on. The place is a dung-heap. Part of India probably are better looking and that ain't saying much. I'm surprised that the sidewalks don't have knuckle marks from most of the population dragging them across there all the time. You know, heavy brow ridges and all. Hell, the state weapon is a club with a spike through it.
 
Comeon, it's just a couple Darkon/Dagorhir people practicing. Nothing unusual here. They get more exercize than your average gamer/geek does certainly.
 
If you go back down the street and pan, you can see one of them wtfpwned and on the ground.
