Heck yea. This is pretty much the best $25-$30 processor in history. If you'd have asked me one year ago if we'd be able to buy a 2.3GHz dual core processor for $30, and not only that but one that would be able to easily hit 3.0GHz on a $25 air cooler, I would've laughed.

And look at me now. This is the third one I've bought with a promo code for $30 or less. It was $56 shipped, making it $26 and $30 for the case, if you cut it that way. They continue to run good deals on this amazing little CPU. I have mine at stock only, but it's in an HTPC where power consumption and heat are the main issues. The thing runs 24/7 for "almost free." 45 watt TDP.... jee whiz...
 
I had the X2 3600+ Brisbane core but I think it may have been the 65W model. Regardless, it hovered around 28-30 degrees celsius on the stock cooler, and that was only with 1 120MM fan. These things can usually hit at least 45-50 celsius before getting a little weary, so the only thing holding you back would be RAM or your Mobo.

If you threw this in something like the Antec 300 with 4x fans and a good copper cooler, you could EASILY reach 3.0+ The Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro comes to mind and can be had for under $20 sometimes.

AMAZING chip for the price.

I've seen it at $25 shipped before, but never $20 shipped. If you see a deal like that, let me know!!!! I know it's a great cooler for the price.
 
Not free shipping anymore for some reason :( It says free shipping on the case, but I combine it with a deal, it calculates extra shipping. Specifically I tried the case and the NeoPower 550 like the guy above, but instead of 85 shipped, it's wanting 101

Yeah, I had to pay like $11.99 shipping it was like $85 total, do you live in Hawaii or something?
 
After pondering since Friday, I finally had to bite, lol.

In for the Antec 300 + BE-2400 combo. $58.95 shipped = case for $43.96 and cpu for $14.99.

Don't really need 'em, but just couldn't pass up the deal!! :p

LOL, I don't have an AM2 motherboard... but for $15.00, I'll hold the CPU until someday I do :D
 
I went ahead and got the case myself. I have been needing a replacement for my main rig and I am tired of the Lian-li oddities.
 
Promo code is only -11$ now, blah. 80$ for both isn't too bad but I was hoping for 60ish.

The promo code was only ever 11 bucks. 20% off 55.00 is 11 bucks..... the promo code is only % off the case, nothign more
