Anyone buy the card from "techtreasure"? Sent him an email....hes unwilling to send me MIR form. I smell something fishy......
I ordered a mother board from techtreasure last week, or maybe it was a hard drive, can't remember. Either way, techtreasure is MWAVE/MULTIWAVEVIDEO. I had also ordered a part from multiwavevideo and when each one sent me a tracking number those two numbers were connected. I don't know why they have multiple ebay accounts, but they do.
Oh and I got my item just fine. It took about 5 days for UPS to deliver my stuff from CA to DC. My only complaint is that the packing peanuts that they use are horrible. They generate a ton of static electricity and they also disintegrate and cling to the items really badly. Didn't actually damage my stuff though which is good.
Hey guys,
I had a quick question. If your using paypal to checkout to get the 25% off cashback, do you have to have enough money in your account or can you route it so that when you use paypal, it will take it from your credit card?
What happened to me was, I was looking at purchasing a vanilla gtx 260 for either the price of $259.99 or $269.99 when it was on earlier in the week. So I transferred out $290 in my papyal account from my bank account to be safe. The money takes 5 days to transfer and now the price of the card is $289.99 + shipping. I dont have enough money to purchase it through the funds already in my paypal account and time is ticking away for that mail in rebate to become handy. So can using a credit card already linked to paypal work for me and be able to get the 25% cashback?
I am a paypal noob, so I transferred the money b/c I thought thats what they wanted.
*Need feedback right away......time is dwindling.

You can use a credit card to pay for it, but it will automatically use the balance that you have in your paypal account first and then pay the rest with the credit card. Paypal doesn't really love you for using a credit card to pay, but they will let you.
630 is low. Most people get 700 out of theirs. Not me though, damn it.
this card dropped 3 or 4 months ago at $400. so at $143 with a free game, you have to wonder what the mark up on these cards is. how little can they sell it for and still make money for nvidia, the "manufacturer", the distributor and then the retailer?
Don't mean to hi jack this thread.
I just did the same as you listed above except, I search for 4870x2.
I order one: total $550. I got 25% ($143) cash back from MS.
Got a second 4870x2 for $407 shipped.
Thats true but its not really selling for $143 on the market, normally even with rebates the lowest these are going for is around $200. And taking into account the float they are getting on rebate money and any denied rebates they are pulling in slightly more than that.
That said BOM has to be in the $100+ range for a card that complex so im sure margins are hurting.
If ATI hadn't finally put out competitive cards, these cards would cost much more...hell, they might not have come out at all.
Are ebay purchases eligible for EVGA step-up and full warranty coverage?
No. Not unless its purchased from a store that gives you an actual invoice, not a paypal or ebay receipt. I wouldnt expect to get a warranty.
Just a fyi if you buy from Multiwave (MWAVE) you should get an invoice.
Yes, I can attest to that. Bought it on ebay. Great service. Just create an account with mwave with the same email as ebay, so its easier for you.
