What phone do you have?

AT&T Tilt. Me likes it.

hell yea.....that's what im rockin too. got a cooked windows mobile 6.1 rom on there.

have a car mount with an adapter that charges and sends audio to the aux in on my stereo, all tucked within the dash. finally, easy di.fm streaming in my car :)

Helio Ocean. Yeah yeah, Helio got bought by Virgin, blah blah. But the phone itself is comfortable, the plan is cheap.

For $75 Bucks I get:
- Only 500 minutes but...
- Unlimited Text
- Unlimited Data
- Unlimited Nights & Weekends
- Unlimited M2M

Plus Google Maps built in, 3G speeds, full QWERTY... it's not a bad phone in the least.

Motorola Razr V3c (Verizon) w/ special firmware that allows me to use Bluetooth for OBEX file transfer.

Battery has less than a day on it of standby, and very littel talk time. I bought a new one but am not using it yet - probably use it starting on Monday.

Waiting for the new BlackBerry's to come out and i'll consider one of those.

Me: Verizon Motorola Q and Verizon LG enV (VX9900) Green
Wife: Sprint Motorola Q and Sprint Sanyo Katana

Moto Q's are in use, and the enV and Katana are on standby just in case one fails.

Sprint touch diamond :D
showed up on my doorstep 9/19
Love this thing. ∞ times better than my mogul was.

I use a Nokia E71, N85, N96 interchangably, and a reflashed Tilt every once in awhile.

iPhone 3G (8GB, Black)

Expensive as hell per month in Canada (I pay over $100 a month after system access fees, tax, etc.) and I only get:

*250 weekday minutes
*Unlimited nights and weekends
*10,100 text messages (100 built into the plan, and i added the extra ones for $10 a month because of how much I text - and fuck Rogers for not just having that be unlimited texts)
*60MB of data (up and down - GOD data plans are the worst in this POS country)
*Voicemail
*CallerID

What's even sadder is this barely gets me through the month and I'm paying so much more than I would if I lived in the States. Also, being a university student, and only able to work a couple times, so this bill, plus rent, plus utilities, plus internet/cable pretty much leaves not a lot left over for food, booze, and entertainment. I blame Rogers for this :p j/k.

As for why I use this phone instead of any other (and I was seriously considering a BlackBerry for a while too...) is the sexiness. Call me shallow, but if I have to look at and use this device for hours a day, I want it to look and feel damn good. The iPhone feels sleeker and more robust than other phones I've had or used. The Apps. So many handy apps that I use every day on my iPhone that I couldn't get anywhere else is a big plus. All the AppStore needs now is a legitimate app for taking video on your iPhone and I'll pretty much have zero I can complain about with this phone. It is so close to perfect for what I need out of a phone. Short Battery life (Even with the new firmware, yes), and not being able to capture video are my only two gripes currently.

HTC Kaiser/AT&T Tilt on about the 30th cooked ROM...settling on Laurentius26_KaiserDiamond_V12 (Windows 6.1). This phone will turn into an Android test bed once the TouchPro/AT&T Fuze is released.

I've had a blast flashing cooked ROM's on this phone and learning the whole Windows Mobile environment. Prior to this phone, I was a Palm devotee since the days of the Palm III. My Palm lineage went from the III > V > 505 > T3 > Treo680. I still have all my Palm devices with the exception of the III (was traded in for the V), all in working order.

Picture of my home screen - Got to love the Nixie Tube graphics!

I decided to drop the HTC xv6800 and go with the LG Dare much better choice for the impatient person I am.
