i intend ti exchange my old vista to a a new vista 64 bits, many users says 32 bits its better than 64 bits, its true?

Vista 32 and 64 are identical in just about anything you do. You just need to make sure you have the drivers available to install 64 bit since it will not accept 32 bit drivers.

You will benefit from 64-bit Vista if you have more than 4gb of RAM or else you won't be able to use it all.

the users who say that dont know what theyre talking about. they are the same but 64bit Vista has advantages while 32bit Vista does not. in the end, there is absolutely no point in using 32bit. also you seem to have 4gb ram. if you want to make use of it, you need 64bit

i've switched to vista64 not long ago myself... runs just the same as 32bit but better, since it uses 4gb fully

There are a few programs that won't play nice with Vista x64 still, but they're few and far between. GRiD comes to mind as one, I still can't get it to run on my x64 Ultimate system. The only other downsides I can think of are if you use some visual styles, custom dll files can be hard to come by, although they're becoming more common. I just use windowblinds. also Vista x64 requires signed drivers while 32 bit doesnt. There are workarounds but they're a pain in the ass and they break sometimes with windows updates. Most hardware is fine but if you have some stuff that's not very common you could run into issues. I had to jump through hoops to get my Twinhan DVB-S satellite receiver card to work. aside from that they're essentially the same, with x64 having the advantage of being able to use 4gb of ram or more to its full effectiveness.
