I upgraded from a 5400 to my 6000 I got from newegg started the computer it was slow bringing stuff up then I didn't have a keyboard when I got to OS selection so it went to vista. I got the black loading screen with the status bar then a black screen and that was it. I restarted and now no post and an error --. I will be testing the gpu tomorrow. I didn't want to tear this computer apart tonight and take the gpu out and put it in the other computer. But I may need a replacement mobo if this one is fried.

I just got it for $40 from someone on pcper a week or so ago fresh from rma. But I really want to upgrade this box also.

Id prefer a board that has true x32 and not one slot @ 16x and the other @ 8x or worse both slots at 8x in sli.

For basic 2-card SLI with an AM2 CPU, you need the 590 SLI chipset for x16/x16 speeds.. The best one out there that I've used is the ASUS Crosshair, which I use now.. The M2N32-SLI is a good one as well.. Both can be upgraded via the BIOS to support AM2+ CPUs as well, but you'll be limited on the memory speed..

looking mainly for a asus m2n32 sli deluxe or wifi. One that has true 2x x16 slots and not both 8x or one 16x and the other 8x like evga 590sli is.

You still looking for a board? I have an ASUS Crosshair coming back from ASUS on RMA. Lan port died on origional board.
