I just got my 2 eVGA GTX 260 SC cards today (coming from 2 9800GTX). My 3DMark06 score hasnt changed at all, its still around 17300.

I feel as though i should be scoring MUCH higher with these cards.

I cleared out the old drivers with driver cleaner. Running 177.79 now.
E8400 @ 3.9
eVGA 780i
4 GB GSKill 1066
2x GTX 260 SC
Vista 64
PC Power and Cooling 750W

Check to see if it performs on par, its best to have evidence of a problem :)
Is it any better in games?

3DMark06 isn't too hot at isolating GPU strength, especially if you're running at the default 3DMark06 resolution (1280*1024, I think).

As Nenu said, test out your games. You should notice a big difference if you're running at a decent resolution.

I run at 1920x1200. Assassins Creed saw a big performance boost, can enable AA now

With one 260GTX my 3Dmark06 score landed @ 13,618 all Stock Clocks on the GPU w/ForceWare 177.26. Dunno if that helps you or not. Good Luck.

Im thinking its those quad cores that give people great 3DMark scores. Massive has a Quad, wheras i only have an E8400. I dunno why my score is so low

As noted above, change the 3DMark06 settings to what you typically game at. I didn't see much increase from my 8800GTS to GTX 260 at stock settings. It was a much different story when i changed the settings to 1600x1200 8xAA 16xAF. Comparing stock scores with today's high end cards is kinda like comparing frame rates with Duke Nukem...

You also may want to give 3DMark Vantage a try. You can submit your scores online and it tells you how your scores stack up against other "comparable systems". this may help determine wether or not your scores are lower than they should be. I think it's only $20...

Vantage Advanced is actually free with EVGA GTX 200 cards. Register the product online at evga.com and you should see a download link and a product key.

HHmm , somethings not right . I pull 17645 in '06 with a pair of 8800GT's (with rig in sig) http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=6441871 ; and my bro pulls about 19k with a pair of 8800GTS's (g92) with a E3110 @ 4.2ghz .

My brother did buy a pair of 260's , but they wont be installed till this saturday . I'll post some of his '06 scores later this weekend for ya and see what he comes up with for a comparison .

Scores aren't everything , so I'll see if I can do some gaming fps too (1920x1200) .

I'm not sure what clock speeds your evga sc runs at but I overclocked my single XFX GTX 260 to 720MHz core and 1240 MHz mem and scored 17,506 in 3DMark06 at stock settings. This may be a dumb question but are you sure both cards are operating and SLI mode has been enabled?
