I've been using a Radio Shack audio switch for a couple of years, but the headphone jack has recently been going down the can. The thing is basically a KVM for audio, giving me 2 input and 2 output with buttons to switch. Due to it going, I need to replace it for something better. Does anyone have any particular recomendations for decent audio switches?

Just to note, 4 input would be kind of neat, but 2 is all I really need. Definitely need 2 output for speakers and headphones though.

I wanted something like that too but I ended up just hooking everything up to a cheap RCA switch box then to a T-amp. Ghetto setup for now.

That's my next option I guess....I have a receiver hooked to my TV and games on the other end of the room, so all things considered I could do RCA to that and a long cable for headphones, but it certainly is a ghetto solution like you say.

Whatever you do, don't get the "Plantronics PC Headset Speaker Switch". So fragile its basically broken out of the box.

I havent found a good solution for myself, so i'll be interested to see what people find.

I've been using the component A/V switch from radioshack and it has performed very well. Last week I picked up a pysclone psc1 from bestbuy on clearance for $20 - it does component, ethernet, and optical while looking nice. See if they are clearing it out by you - on their website it lists over $100
