I stumbled upon this website before and remember reading about it in a linux magazine, brushing it off as improbable, but there seem to be a decent amount of hype about this. I just havent seen any reviews or testimonies regarding bandwidth issues or lag or artifacts and was wondering if anyone knows more.

What Stream my games is, is a client server program which allows a powerful PC server run any game and supposedly stream it to any linux capable device ( or any other device for that matter) hooked up to a fast network connection so it can be played on that device, while the PC server renders the game in the background.

It doesn't do anything for me, but I'm glad to see something like this developed - it's a really good idea and really cool for people with PS3 with a really nice home theater system.

If that was my case, I would probably even get this. You can also use keyboard + mouse with PS3, right? I have 360 so...

yeah, I know PS3 has bluetooth and usb so the possibility exists to install ubuntu on the PS3 to get the whole PC gaming experience on it. I havent tried installing linux on mine yet so I couldnt tell you.

Unfortunatley I am away for offshore work for a few weeks so I cant actually try this myself for some time. I would really appreciate it if someone could try it out and post how responsive games feel, and if there is a significant difference between wifi and wired network ( other than the fact that you have to run lower resolutions if on wifi ).
