U.S. District Judge James Ware has decided to bar the public from the Facebook court proceedings that has former fellow Harvard classmates pitted against Mark Zuckerberg amid allegations that he stole the Facebook idea from them.

Ware shuttered the doors to a San Jose, Calif., hearing pitting Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg, probably the world's youngest self-made billionaire, against Harvard University classmates who claim Zuckerberg stole ideas and source code from a similar venture called ConnectU. Ware took this extraordinary step without notice, without a formal request from either side, and without even specifying why it was necessary

I can see why the judge would do this.... Seems to me that he didn't want the media turning his courtroom into a circus of sorts.
While it sucks for us, the public, in the end it won't matter much. Sure, we'll miss out on the details of the case, but we'll find out the verdict either way.

Protection of Intellectual Property. That's what I believe the lockdown is about.

I was thinking Guitar Hero, but okay ;)

Actually, I think that the media should be barred from ALL high-profile cases. Public attention can, has, and will change verdicts, sometimes even without the judge/jury themselves knowing.

nah nah... these are tech-guys they should be able to pull off DDR, Guitar Hero and Singstar all at once... it is Singstar right? singstar it sounds like a chinese pop idol.... barrrf

add some Wii Fit in there somewhere.. and they can look like complete morons :D
