My wonderful beautiful Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 930 is not long for this world :(

its beginning to show the same signs my previous one did before it died
last time mitsubishi swapped it for another one but when i rang they said its out of warranty and even then they don't have any more refurb models

ill try and get some pictures up as its hard to explain whats wrong with it
i get these intermittent black warping like bars at the top and bottom of the screen

what companies do CRT repairs i hope its not too expensive or too far gone to be fixed

:(

Your best bet is probably to try and find a local TV repair shop to look at it for you. I'd guess that between the diagnostic and the repair, you're probably looking at more than the thing is worth. I am not familiar with your monitor at all, but I'd say unless it's worth over $200 used, it's time to shop for an LCD.

Foudn your 19" CRT through google on a no-name site for $320 new. You probably wouldn't get $100 for it used. I think you know what direction you're headed in.

craigslist....

I just picked up a sony fw900 for $120.. and can pick up a sony g520 for $80 if I wanted to :) check yours! hehe

I think what's happening is called Vertical Collapse. I say this because I have the same exact monitor and it's the reason I'm shopping now for an LCD.

I haven't had time to research a new monitor yet, but a while back when I was looking at getting my monitor repaired the part was something like $90 if I remember correctly.
