interfacelift is an awesom site for walpaper. Some folks also like digitalblasphemy and there is another one out there (I can't recall it off the top of my head) but it's a free site dedicated to just babes.

Personally I love Blatte's Backgrounds. Some great fractals at all resolutions. They have a daily password you can find in the terms of use.

I used to use DeviantArt.com quite a bit... don't know if you can still get wallpapers easily off there now though because they seem to have turned the whole site into an online art store which is cool if you want to sell your work, or buy prints, but not so cool if you just want a cool looking desktop.
