what can i not do on the phone while i use it for a trial period of 14 days with ATT? I want to see how the coverage is in my area while I still have my VZW contract.

I remember a while back VZW told me I cant remove any stickers from phone if I am thinking of returning it within the 14 days.

does that hold true for iPhone?

i doubt you will be able to get one for a free trial...

but if you do.. i bet you cant unlock it... and if you cant unlock it, why get it at all?

Because its feature set, and ease of use is beyond anything else on the market.

the way it works with ATT, if your not happy with your service or phone you can return it or a full refund within 14 days of signing your contract. I intend to do just that.

I was able to return mine with no problems, I used it a lot, peeled the plastic off, had it all setup for me, I even dropped it pretty good in the store right in front of the guy refunding it for me, if you return within 14 days ,you still have to pay a 10% restocking fee.

Exact same policy at AT&T store, I just paid $40 or so whne I returned mine. and believe me, I argued hard.

I stand corrected, since the AT&T Store definitely only charged me 10%, and this was actually outside the 14 day limit. If you can stand the shitty service, and the even worse customer service, the iPhone is amazing, but AT&T just isn't for me.

Of course service varies with location. AT&T might be terrible in one part of the country yet have awesome service in another.
