people at SD are trying to pay with paypal, rather than cc or googleco, so buy.com wouldnt do a chargeback.

dont know if they will or not... though if they do a chargeback for using gco and it's a price mistake, i'd be really pissed to have to waste money to send it back to them.
 
Hmm, should I? Zero dollars with google checkout. Do I really need ANOTHER free usb drive? My last one is still sealed in the package from 6 months ago.
 
It's definitely price mistake, I am not even gonna bother. Got the 2gb version though for 1.74 of the kingston AGCO.

sweet, id would be icing on top of the cake if they were the titanium ones lol. I had the 2GB titanium and boy I could not find a way to destroy them. I'm in for 2 though.:D

what is this U3 crap you can just format it and have a regular USB drive correct?

eh, these are a bit easier to kill, for me at least. accidentally left one (4gb) in my pocket, and threw it in the washer. died. there went $33.

my old 512mb cruzer still works perfectly though, and it has been washed at least 6 times in the past 4 years. also feels a whole lot sturdier than the new plastic ones..

yes, you can format and get rid of the U3 stuff to make it into a normal flash drive. just dont put any crucial stuff on it before you get rid of U3, cause it requires a complete format to get U3 off.

Its gonna suck when they cancel everyone's orders.
I got one of the 2 gigs for $1.79 so no biggie that it ended for me.
 
Meh, I did not even see it being worth 2 dollars. I am sick of getting free USB drives. I never use them.
 
Well my cancel for the first order with standard shipping went through. I just got the email. Now awaiting "sent to warehouse" status on the free shipping one.

It's not really going to matter. I'm not desperate for a USB drive, but heck if I can get a 4GB for $6, I'm not going to say no to that!

lol man the titanium cruzers are almost impossible for me to kill. I crushed it with 1250lb of pressure with a machine on all sides, washed it, dropped it and banged it quite a few times. All it left was a small scratch or two.:p I hope I get these for 6. I was kinda in need of more space.
