Looking for game for Wife and me

Well, I'm a mmorpg player - I've got chars in eve, vanguard, eq, eq2, shadowbane, daoc, etc etc, etc etc

However I don't really play that much anymore, I run a tf2 server which I spend most of my time on (phlorph.com)

My wife has played games loosely with me, when eq2 came out she actually leveled up a bit with me but she doesn't really care for mmorpg's

She loves the "old" hero's series and the new one is ok.

I'm looking to play some games with her - possible the HL2 2 player coop hack - but I'm unsure.

I have been searching but I can't find that many coop games - could someone recommend one? She isn't it to sci-fi at all
 
I forgot to say that her computer is fairly stout 7900GT, 3000 amd DFI motherboard with 2 gigs of ram - it's my older computer

I really want a fun game where she isn't stressed out about lvling or competition that we can be cooperative -
 
FPS/TPS?

Mercenaries 2 is coming up soon, which has both co-op and split-screen. If you/she is considering something like HL2, then I'm assuming she's somewhat into FPS/action etc. There's also Frontlines: Fuel of War coming soon, for another FPS, but who knows how that will actually be in the end.

My wife loves FPS/TPS/action, so I know we'll be into Mercs 2 big-time and will be co-oping PC-to-PC. We both loved the first one a lot.

Maybe try getting her into TF2 as well, since you run a server?

We're sort of in the same predicament. I'll be playing whatever I'm into regardless, but we've been trying to find more MP games the both of us can play, and that are actually worthwhile, but it seems a bit hard to find anything these days that really is worthwhile.
 
My wife plays FlatOut 2 with me quite a bit. It's an arcade-ish racer with fantastic audio and graphics and is very easy to get into.
 
This is a really good question. I would love to know about and good split screen games out there. My wife has two laptops, and neither is really up to the task...

Doesnt need to be a brand new game, anything cool will do. I love driving games, her not so much. There used to be this kick ass arcade coop game where one guy drives and the other guy blazes away with a gun.
 
Madden. Put her on your team. have her be an offensive lineman and blame her if you get sacked.
 
Diablo 2, just play on bnet in pvt games

its not really that much of a grind, compared to mmorpgs

play simcity3 or roller coaster tycoon 3 together?

Well type of games does she like?
Being a woman, usually I can pick out a few titles based on her interests.
 
My wife and I play the Lego Star Wars games and The Simpons Movie game together.
 
Mythos beta (free/fast keys) for a modern hack-n-slash. (it's just like Diablo 2)


Diablo 2 if you can't run Mythos well enough..
 
I got my g/f a Wii for christmas with Wii play and Wii sport, its loads of fun and her boobs bounce up and down so its a good spectator sport as well!

What a coincendence, I gave my fiancee some Wii for Christmas too!

It's loads of fun and her boobs bounce up and down, but sadly, we only play it with each other, it's not a spectator sport.

Sorry... I really had to.
