1x4 GB DDR2-667 for $67.07 shipped at Buy.com

Price error. And either way, it's not shipping from Buy.com. It's offered through ANTonline.

guys, ppl are reporting on the overclocking forum that they received vanila 1gb sticks, might be a good time to cancel if yours haven't shipped. Just a heads up. I sent them an email. If not I'll just refuse when it arrives.

AHAHAHAHAHA! This is the email I got from them:

Hi, my name is Amanda and I'm a manager with the Customer Service team at ANTOnline.

We have been notified that you product order was damaged in transfer from the regional warehouse to the shipping hub.

We apologize for the inconvenience and are refunding immediately and filing an insurance claim for our lost goods.

You see the refund on your next written credit card statement - usually within 30 days. We do not control and can not speed up your credit card company's credit posting time frame.

Again we have refunded you purchase in full, so you can re-order as you see fit; we apologize for any inconvenience.

Damaged in transfer, what an excuse.

I decided to send them a nice little reply:

A simple 'we made a typographical error on the site and won't be honoring the price mistake' would have sufficed.

Honestly, if the product were damaged you'd probably get another one sent out to me quickly and wouldn't jump straight to cancelling my order as you'd be losing a customer.

I understand your cancelling my order (and expected it to happen) as you don't want to sell an $800 product for less than $70, but you don't need to lie to your potential customers, even if they were only ordering from you because of a pricing mistake.

It's all good though, your secret's safe with me...and thousands of other people online.

Guys honestly, there's no raeson to get hot and bothered that your order was cancelled. I'm actually very happy they cancelled mine. The people who slipped through got shafted even worse. They were sent vanilla 1gb sticks (as in 1x1gb) and now have to hassle with paying shipping and return shipping. Be glad you aren't one of them.

Did anybody make a screen shot of the webpage showing the model number, price and specs. If so this is part of your protection for a cc dispute under chargebacks as "not as described" if it resorts to that. I would like a copy if any has one (forgot to do it myself).

I don't think anyone's really getting 'hot and bothered' over it. In my reply to them I even admitted that I thought my order would get cancelled. The only thing that gets me is their pathetic excuse as to why they cancelled my order. Even that isn't getting me hot and bothered, it's just stupid that they are trying to use that excuse so I feel like calling them out to see what they say.

My buddy got the same reply
