Has anyone here purchased a pre-built machine from NCIX before? If so how was the experience? Build quality? Thanks in advance for the responses.

doesnt look good man, i wouldnt get one......just my opinion

wtf?

NCIX is a great *CANADIAN*(thou they do sell to usa) retailer, thou I don't know about their build quality first hand, from what I hear its pretty good thou.

Eh already decided to build myself since they wouldn't ship with any of the after market cpu coolers I wanted.

NCIX has good prices on some items, but not everything. They are mainly a "reseller" of parts, so after service can't beat the major competitors. I'd definitely get parts from them tho.

I bought a new rig from NCIX back in march, picked out all the components I wanted and then had them put it all together. Overall it was a very smooth transaction. The original soundcard I had selected had been discontinued so they called to let me know and I wound up just going with the onboard sound for the time being.

I think it took them about 3-4 business days for them to build it, and then another 3-4 days for shipping. It arrived packaged very well and securely. When the postman brought the box with my fully loaded P180 up to my door, he was like "man this one is heavy." heheh. NCIX had included all the retail packaging for every item purchased which was kinda cool.

RAM was secured in with zip-ties... initially I thought the cable management was pretty well done.. then I saw peoples rigs over here and was like "whoa." it has a long way to go before it's even comparable. but it's good enough for me.

in the end i was pleased with how things went and have not had any problems with the machine yet.

Not a horrible-looking build, but certainly more could have been done with wire management. Good part selection though on your part - the AC CPU cooler, Antec chassis and Tri-Cool fans, Silverstone PSU - good stuff.

NCIX has great retail support, if their builds are the same, youll be fine :) theres almost NO overhead on them i dont think... just the build fee...
