OCZ XTC Cooler on A8n-sli

I am planning to order the OCZ XTC Cooler ram cooler. My concern is after looking over my A8n-sli that there are some capacitors that could possibly make it dificult to install. Can anyone verify that this will fit on these boards with no problems.

I guess i will order one, and Find out. Worst case I have to mod the retension barackets
 
Post your findings, if you can. I am also considering getting this for my memory. But does it have to be OCZ memory? Or will it work with any branded memory?
 
It'll work with any memory (maybe not OCZ Reaper or something like Corsair Dominators since that ram has quite a tall heat sink assembly).

As far as caps go it wouldn't be the retention system that you'd have to mod. At the most you may have to cut a square out of the side if it is in the way. Probably won't be though.
 
As DaMiEn it should work with any ram other than some really Tall sticks or the ones with crazy heatpipes coming out the top.

The cooler is in the mail so I will find out by mid next week if it fits or not. Regardless of what it takes the cooler will fit great with my new WC loop and theme :)
 
After all this waiting it finally got here.

It fits just fine. No cap problems, it's a bit loose but it was nothing that couldnt be fixed in a matter of seconds.
