I've got an AMD Athlon 64x2 6000+ processor running on a Gigabyte M59SLI-S5 motherboard, and a Geforce 8800GTX graphics card sitting in an Antec 900 case with an extra 120mm case fan(the only extra fan slot on an Antec 900). I run an average of 50 C on my Geforce 8800 GTX. But my proc runs at 38/30 C normally(per core). Is this normal? I realize most of the cooling is towards the lower section of the case, but with all the fans running at max(including the 8800 GTX) that seems high, even for a pure air cooling system. Any thoughts? I moved the hard drives down to the bottom drive bay based on the length of the 8800 GTX, and the bottom fan is blocked by my horrible cabling job. I don't have any problems with the system, but the temp ratings, based on CoreTemp, seem really high.
Any thoughts?
