what about BF2 and FEAR back when 1gb was common. they liked 2gb and caused a lot of people to upgrade for smoother gameplay.

I've heard that there is a port of Maniac Mansion that is going to be DX10 from Apple II... That should has to potiential to be a resource hog.......

but hes talking about 4 gigs not 2 gigs. to tell you the truth i have 4 gigs now only cuz it was cheap on craigs list. but i dont plan to keep it i dont feel anything at all.

oops...edited for not reading correctly,

IMO, we are far from games using that much memory on a less than proven OS. Gaming manufacturs are likely to take advantage of more video memory than to code their games for vista 64. At least for now. Maybe in a couple of year we'll see it. Then again, we are likely to see a new OS that'll support more than 4gigs lol.

I currently go over 2 gigs - when I play bf2142 at 1600 x 1200 at 2aa and use Vista Ultimate 64- bit.

I bought the mushkin in sig and it smoothed out my gameplay just like going to 2 gigs from 1 gig in bf2 using windows xp.

I have a g-15 keyboad and it can monitor usage of ram.
