mushkin xp 650w opinion

Let's leave this bait out there to see how many Mushkin shills we can get into one thread. :D

nice, but for what setup
well anyway, if a 650W psu with four 20A rails cant handle something, it should be tagged lethal

not for me,its for my cousin, have it a similar system with me.

A few reviews I have read about it say it is a decent PSU. Most of them mention the cables are extremely stiff.

You can do better for the money. The Corsair HX620 can be found in the same price range and is far superior.

I rather like my Mushkin, drives my system very well (check my sig). But yes the cables are stiff, no active PFC unless u pay more for the upgraded model. BUT I got mine for a good price, assuming my rebate ever comes.

but ocz its better and al little bit more expensive

Bro.. we heard you the first time.

Never mind the fact that your first statement is completely wrong (OCZ > Corsair) and that there are still even better choices out there than even the OCZ (Mushkin NOT being one of them.)

Excess ripple at high loads. That means more work for the PWM, possibly leading to eventual failure.

I wouldn't risk it.
