And thats the rig I have been saving this money the last year and change for! :D :D :D

If anyone can help me fill in the Undecided's and especially the fan controller(if you think I need one) I would GREATLY appreciate it!!!

Before I even get responses to this, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone here now and future for the help and genuine kindness I get at this forum. I would not have gotten to this point of my system build if it wasn't for the intelligent, experienced advise I have recieved here. So in all seriousness, thank you all!

I'm in love with my Saitek Eclipse keyboard, and Razer Copperhead. I think for your mouse, you should check out the Razer and the Logitech G5, they are proven to be about the best gaming mice on the market.

For CD/DVD I would recommend just about any on newegg, just be sure that it has some good reviews, and decide if your want to go sata or pata ide.

Ok...i'll take a look, on I'm trying to keep down on clutter so it will definitely be SATA.

For keyboard, i'd recommend either the razer tarantula or Logitech G11. Or if you have a little bit more, the G15.

For mouse, more user preference, but i'd get either a Logitech MX518 (optical), Logitech G5 (laser) or the Razer DeathAdder (optical).

Personally, I have the G5, and im going to pick up a DeathAdder for my new build. It's a good mouse and all but damn, it hurts after some intense, long FPS games. The DeathAdder just felt comfy and right!

DVD drives, i recommend either Lite-on's for the great bang/buck or Sony NEC Optiarcs.

unless you are trying to build a silent case, you really dont need a fan controller. if you listen to music when you use your computer, you won't be able to hear the fans (or you won't be bothered by them). i have a few fan controllers and i wish i had spent the money on something else because i keep them on 100%, 100% of the time.

I've been building systems for years, and when Lite-on became popular, I bought quite a few drives. I hate them. Also, Sony drives tend to slide the tray out slowly and loudly, like they're about to explode. They never do, but they sound that way. I have since used nothing but Samsung drives, and of about 40-45 purchased, I have had zero problems.

Search newegg for "floppy reader" and get the one that looks the best to your eyes. I've had a few different brands, and they're all basically the same.

For a fan controller, check out this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813998806 I don't know why it has low reviews, I love mine... Anyway, the benefit to it is you get temperature guages (not wonderfully accurate, but cool) and a REMOTE CONTROL!!!! The remote has power and reset buttons, looks like a car key-fob. I like it. The lights on the gauges are kinda too bright, but my case has a door so I just shut it.

Mouse: I have a G5 wired, and a G7 wireless. Love them. Best mouse ever. I hear good things about the Logitech Revolution wireless too. They certainly look spiffy, but I doubt they outperform the G7 or other such gaming mice.

Keyboard: I have a G15, and the wife has a Saitek Eclipse II. The G15 isn't bad, the LCD is "cool" but worthless. The extra buttons are probably cool but I don't use them. For typing and gaming, the Saitek feels a lot better. The G15 was kind of disappointing to me, but still a good item. If you don't want back-lit, go with a Microsoft keyboard, they have the best feel of any keyboard I've ever used. Don't get a Z-board, they suck.

Other thoughts: I had a slot cooler for a bit and it didn't seem to do anything at all. I didn't look at how many fans are in the case you have, but if you have a top intake and a front intake with 2 rear exhaust you should be doing alright. You said 4 fans, so I think you'll have plenty without the added noise of a slot cooler. Also, Arctic Silver Ceramique (read instruction on applying, it's different than most!) works a lot better than AS5.
