Optimus Maximus Available for Preorder

When they first released the idea I estimated 350-450USD. $1500? No thanks. I'd rather get a really freakin nice TV for that price. It will be a cold day in hell when I buy a keyboard for that Price.


Hmm, could be an error. Is everyone sure they don't mean 1500 pesos? ...laff
 
This can go down in history as one of the biggest wastes of money ever. A year from now these things will be improved and will be cranked out for $200-$300.
 
I was really hoping it would have stayed in the $300 range... I would have gotten one, but I barely look at my keys anyways.
 
I will wait as does most for some overseas genious to get his hands on better cheaper technology and 6 months after release watch them rush it to market, have it able to be mass produced and sell it for 200 dollars thus shutting them down fast. Maybe 6 months is too quick. Maybe 9 months to a year is more like it. It will happen, it always does.

Good point, I don't look at my keys either, but the more responsive the faster I can type.

If the keys look pretty and are mediocre in response, then this will be a $1500 paper weight.

Before you run around bitching about what people are posting, perhaps you should do some research, not too long ago when they first announced the price they mentioned what I mentioned. My bad for them changing their design a few times since introduction :rolleyes: Give me a break.
 
I wonder how their warranty is? Also, I wonder how the Vista support is? If thier warranty is good and their support is excellent, then I might be interested in this keyboard.

My worry is havng a key or a display fail and then you are stuck with an expensive paperweight.
 
with my luck those eight would include spacebar, backspace, enter, delete, "e", "r", and the other common ones.

Will you need to keep the account open after the purchase for Maintnance and Repair or will it have a stunning Warranty?

Does it do a light show?
