iPod or wait for iPhone?

That is the question, I was originally going to get an 80gb ipod but then saw the iphone introduction and thought I'd wait for it, but now I'm not sure anymore since I already got a phone and it's only got 8gb of storage.
 
The iPhone will never be a suitable replacement for an iPod as a dedicated music player. A phone does so much more and if you're not using those features, they're just taking up space and draining the battery. You're much better off with an iPod. But I agree, hold out for the 6th gen product. Hopefully it will be out before the iPhone anyways.
 
Cool, that just confirms my thinking. Has Apple made any official noise about the 6th gen and its release date?
