Well if you hit the specifications tab you shall see reccomended resolution of 1366 x 768.

For satelite TV people, this is hot. AFAIK, all signals come in at 1080i or 720p, not 1080p.

As you would find with most budget screens nowadays.
Besides. don't you already own a Tivo or cable box or satellite or HTPC? All the k00l kids are doing it!
How are you going to tune in that 720p/1080p signal if you aren't going to receive one over the air?
You -NEED- an add-on device for highdef. If you aren't going to put highdef on it, you shouldn't bother with a HD set.
