scythe infinity in a centurion 5 case?

Will it fit? Is this a the best heatsink I could buy for 45$? I was considering the ac freezer 7 pro but that ends up being 35 in most places that have it in stock. Is the infinity worth the 10$ more?

Well, I can't speak specifically for the model you are interested in, but a Scythe Ninja fits in my case.

If you can find the measurements of the Ninja vs. the Infinity, see what the difference is--if it comes out that the Ninja is larger, I'd assume the Infinity can fit.

I put an Infinity into my Centurion 5 with a DS3. Works great, just ditch the duct.

I fit a Tuniq in my case. Its fits really snug and its head to tighten down the side next to the I/O panel. So Im sure the scythe would fit. Heres a pic for reference. I really love this case, but I think it needs at least a 120mm intake in the front instead of the 80mm.

if you have more than 3 5.25" bay drives open you can easily mount a 120mm fan in there with some zip ties.

If you only use 1 CD Drive or bay, 1 120mm fan can be placed below it.

If you use 2 CD drives or bays, an 80mm fan can be used below them

you can have 2 bays full and fit a 120mm fan in there. I have it done right now.

You can also use to 3.5 bays and still fit a 80mm in there with at a slight angle, i have one in there to help the intake fan in the front case and to cool the SLI 7800GT's and the southbridge of my A8N32-SLI, it really helps keeps temps LOW!

Before with case door closed i could reach temps of 40-41c on the mobo, and 60-62c on the 7800gt's, now my case closed w/80mm fan in the HDD bays my southbridge temps don't go above 33-35c and vc's stick around 55-56c!, right now at idle my 7800gt's are abour 38-40c, and mobo is 29-30c.

To the op, it should fit if the item is only 6" tall, my Tt Tower112cu w/ 2 92mm fans was like 6" tall and would fit with ease if you remove the fan duct!

Absolutely it is worth $10 more. I own both of them, I paid $59 for Infinity and $27 for Freezer7Pro. You got a very good deal on Infinity!!
