I was going to order an external drive from newegg this week, but now i don't have to. Just picked one up locally. 3 year warranty, cheap, what do i have to lose.

The order confirmation @ either checkout, or the one you'll likely get in the e-mail as backup.
 
I just picked mine up locally as well-seems as though they were selling a lot, since I snagged the last one (and the cashier mentioned it)

They handed me the forms for $100 total in rebates and I walked out smiling :)
 
I was just at OD tonight getting the panasonic cordless phone for $50 AR. If I'd known about this I'd have snagged one. Maybe I'll take another trip out tomorrow.

$100 rebate is a bit big, but even after tax it's $0.24/gb which is good for an external drive.
 
If you price match the drive to Newegg you will be able to get it for $5 after those rebates. You will have to call in to do this and most the time it wont work. But once in awhile you will get a noob CSR and they will price match even though there are rebates.
 
Add a $20 off $100 coupon as well.
