Yet another thread on what card is the best for my money

One of my good friends asked me what is a good video card he can get for around $150. He is currently running a nVidia 4200ti 128. The only thing he told me he wants is something with 256mb nothing less, so im trying to find him the best card for his money. I was looking at the 6800gt but its $190 on newegg :| Can someone help me out
 
well you're definitely looking for agp cards then. and in that case, it's got to be the leadtek 7600gt agp. i think that's within your price.

edit, well actually it's not. it's 180 at newegg. so maybe the 7600gs then?
 
Yeah I went to Frys today with him and looked at some cards, found some pretty decent cards for around his price range. Think he will end up getting the 7600. Thanks guys :)
 
Wow, they still sell Nvidia 6 series? I wouldn't even consider one with the variety of 7 series out there.
