Under vista 64bit... with a truck load of beta drivers. Here is my score.

8248

Just wanted to give a heads up. Also is this a good score per my specs below?

My neighbor gets that with the same specs but he has 1 hd 10,000 rpm and gets around the same score.

Cool yea and nothing is overclocked I am very happy with it. Scores a 5.3 in vista too.

Well, just for reference, I get ~8200 with:

3800 x2 @ 2550
2 gig of pc 3200 ram
8800 gts @ 621/945

That seems on par with your setup..
I wonder what the point difference would be between Vista and XP?
Do you know?

That score is fine. I had a bit over 10k with my "old" [email protected] Ghz and stock 8800GTX, and now I've got 13118 with my [email protected] Ghz and the 8800GTX at 650/1550/2000. All in Vista x64 with 100.59 drivers.
So above 8k for your setup seems to be quite good to me, actually :)

Does that score make you happy? Does it fullfill your ambitions and dreams?

Remember, only you can truely decide if that score is good for you. Many may say that it's not the size of the score that's important but how it's used in realworld games.

If you are not satisfied with your score, there are many score enhancement products (i.e. video card replacment operations) on the market. Would a card that has a much larger score bring greater enjoyment and satisfaction to your game? It's all about how satisfying the game is....

:D

Naa I am happy with it actually. I know if I need more performance down the line I have room to OC my proc too so that works.

And really the video card to being from eVGA.

Just wanted to get general impressions from folks.

Oh I also ran it with a thumb drive using 1.4 gig as swap... or whatever vista calls it.

With a E6400 overclocked to 3.2GHz all stock volts, and an EVGA 8800GTS overclocked to 670/1980, I get 10,895 in 3D Mark 06.
