Dell SB is sending around some coupon codes via email today. Apparently they are worth from 10 - 25%, you have to configure a system to check the amount. I'm not using mine, so I thought I would leave it here for whoever might need it. Let us know if you use it so I can mark it as taken. Oh yeah, this one was a 25% code.

Your surprise coupon code could save you up to 25%!

Just customize your choice of select Dell™
desktops, notebooks, workstations and servers*
Make sure your system is priced $699 or higher
(before taxes, fees, shipping and handling)
Enter your mystery code and save 15%, 20% or
even 25% on your purchase

Enter exclusive coupon code JVNW2HS6416J1M at checkout to find out how much you save.

<noob question>Do you actually have to have a small office to buy this? do they ask for your company info?</dumbassness>

No, you don't have to have a business. You can make up a business name and enter it whenever they ask.

Just fill in a name during checkout. They don't actually verify the business information.

That coupon is for 25% off but it seems they are being very restrictive on what systems it will apply to.

Yeah, I checked it on a Lat 820. Not sure what other systems are included.

i got an email with a 25% off systems coupon, and 15% off monitors, i'm planning on getting 2x 207's tomorrow i think

Here is another, hope someone get some use out of it.

I sure would like to use this on the 2007WFP, but so far, none of the codes work :(

if anyone had a coupon for computer accessories i would appreciate that. THanks.

i need advice:

I don't really NEED a laptop, but i have a steady job and can afford one. these deals seem really really good. i want to be able to game with it as well. Will these deals come again? how are the x1400/1150 mobility and nividia 6150 gfx?

Got 25% off a Inspiron 9400, which knocked off almost $400.

17" XGA+
C2D T7200
GeForce GO 7900GS
1GB RAM (will buy another stick from Newegg for about half of Dell's price)
80gig HD

$1277 after tax.

The 1gig ram comes in two 512meg sticks. You will have to replace both of them to upgrade to 2gigs.

For most, if not all models you can choose if you want 2x512 or 1x1024, the latter is at enough of a markup that buying a a laptop with 1x512 ebaying it and replacing it with 2x1024 is generally the cheapest option.

how good are the x1400 cards in these laptops?

Everything I've read about them indicate they're x1300s with 128MBs onboard memory and another 128MBs shared. The x1300 is 64MBs of dedicated memory and another 64MBs shared. Dell lists the clock and memory speeds as exactly the same. Not a gaming card IMO. I have an x1300 and its great for running Aero, but thats about it.

i want to play at least css with the x1400 in it, but i read it gets 30 frames on low :(

It didn't state whether it was 2 sticks or 1 like on most builds, just if it was 533 or 677, so I took the chance. If it's 2 sticks, I'm just going yank and sell them, and replace it with 2 1GB sticks. 1GB will be perfectly fine for the time being anyway, as my desktop is my main gaming rig still.

how do u get these coupons on email? i subscribed and they only send me just normal public deals never coupons and I have bought several things from them.
