Just took them a few minutes ago. Imageshack.us is being a bitch though with my Sprint Wireless EVDO connection.
Edit*I forgot my spiderman plush thing was still there.....it's a dog toy.

Seriously, it's not a special picture or anything. It's his and he has the original exif data to show that.

1970's Aurex amplifier (identical spare in the cupboard), FM tuner (I'm not paying £135 for a TV license), Dreamcast (with VGA box, goes into far left CRT) & headphone amp on top of Shuttle enclosure (dual LM6171).

Rear machine is a win2kpro ICS gateway that handles 802.1x authentication & MAC checking for the uni network (5-port 10/100 switch on top), front machine is a BSD NAS, printer is an HP LaserJet 4 M Plus;

christmas lights FTW

I have a string around the bulletin board above my desk and its great. I think its easier on the eyes to just have those on at night rather than all my lights. Plus, it just looks cool.
 
Whilst I wouldn't call them 'cool' I would definately agree that they are much nicer on the eyes. And the university might have a go at me if I removed the fluorescent unit from the ceiling & swithced it for something else too.
 
HEre is my latest revision of my workstation, inlcuding dual LCDs. Please do not comment on the messy wires. I am working on that slowly but will get done.

lol i have my 22in lcd hdtv down here now crt and lcd , lcd as primary monitor/tv/satilite lol, and crt as ps2/gamecube

Pretty soon it's going to change though. I'll be picking up a Jerker desk from Ikea as soon as one of their planned semi close locations opens up and after that I'm buying the Westinghouse 37w3 to go with it. Should be fun :D

I worked there for almost a month, but couldn't handle that kind of retail after coming out of a custom computer shop. That desk's drawer for stuff.......is real easy to break. In one month two of them desks had the glass break, and once was customer put too heavy weight on it.
It looks like a desk from the future, but all it does is collect finger prints easy.

I just noticed that about those desks. Also if you waited, almost one weekend out of every month that desk goes on sale for $119 or $129 I think. 10$ off, or 15% off.........would make it a deall.

Zomg, I have your desk! (or you have mine) The finish on it kind of makes me angry, the laminate is a bit thiner than I would have liked, plus the very top piece of wood on the hutch was curved when I got it, so the doors don't quite close right. Oh, and the door for the computer fell off (actually broke in two pieces). But... other than that.... its a good desk :D
