I'd take that down if I were you, that's illegal to run OS X on non-Apple hardware.
It's illegal in the sense that it's a breech of the contract between you and Apple. Nobody considers EULAs contracts, though. I doubt it would hold up in court, but technically, it's just as illegal as breeching any other kind of contract.I wouldn't say "illegal." Ain't no-one gonna get arrested for running OS X on a Dell.
Well whether some of you think it's illegal or not, it's a breach of the [H] rules and can get you banned, so you'd probably be happier taking it down.

What are you, his mother?
If you think it's illegal, let a mod take care of it and he'll pay the price for breaking the rules. Hell, you can even report the post if it bothers you so much.
I'm sure Apple really appreciates your zeal in their defense, though.

Does the EULA actually say you can only run this on Apple hardware? Just curious.

This License does not allow the Apple Software to exist on more than one computer at a time, and you may not make the Apple Software available over a network where it could be used by multiple computers at the same time. You may make one copy of the Apple Software (excluding the Boot ROM code) in machine-readable form for backup purposes only; provided that the backup copy must include all copyright or other proprietary notices contained on the original.
"This License allows you to install and use one copy of the Apple Software on a single Apple-labeled computer at a time." - in case you missed it.
This used to read in about the Power-PC architecture, but it changed to read just Apple-labeled when they made the move the x86 with the new Intel chips.
Interesting. Wonder what exactly constitutes "Apple-labeled computer." Motherboard & cpu from a Mac Pro in a generic case? Motherboard with an upgraded cpu? Etc etc.
An "Apple-labeled computer" is one maybe by Apple.Interesting. Wonder what exactly constitutes "Apple-labeled computer." Motherboard & cpu from a Mac Pro in a generic case? Motherboard with an upgraded cpu? Etc etc.

It's always amazing to see people try to rationalize doing something wrong. Note I didn't say illegal since that's a can of worms and this world has many different places with laws that don't respect those of their neighboring countries, but anyone with half a brain knows something when something is right and something is wrong.
This topic is going way off-topic so... either bring it back on course or expect a Mod to just lock it down quick.
well, its not allowed on the forums - post it and get banned.
