AMD Sockets...

So the S939 is dying and the AM2 is being let go, is Socket F going to be the Holy Grail? Just wondering...

AM3 will be.

Right now, straight forward, AMD parts aren't price worthy
in comparison to its INTEL counterparts.

Only thing is that their new 65nm cores that haven't yet
been released commercially wide, will consume less power.

In my case, I'm going to stick with my s939 until AM3
comes out in 2 years or so, or I will probably crumble and
go build myself a Intel comp.

AM3 is the winner in terms of its future spec's (low temps, nice L2, and nice dual and quad core frequencies)

AM2 boards haven't been my favorite so far... and only a memory bump... I rather wait for the 65nm
