It's $100 rebate good for in store purchases only at Microcenter that is good from 11/12 - 12/3. It doesn't say anything about being limited to certain locations, so it should be good at any Microcenter across the country. I'm going to call and verify at the store in Overland Park, KS later. If anyone else can verify that MC will honor this rebate, please respond in here.

It isn't a 360 for $100 (refer to locked thread), but it's better than anything else out at the moment.

Confirmed to work at Overland Park store. The guy said that it should work at most retail store, but couldn't guarantee that it applies to EVERY one.

A microcenter is just 12 miles from my house, awesome, I was waiting for some incentive to get the X360. This is the start of the push. :D

Does anyone have any experiences with microcenter rebates?

I've never had a problem.

Actually they go as far as printing off the forms for you. It's definitely a small gesture, but something I wish other companies would do.

Alright, I've had a third party (my family) go ahead and pick one up for me. Everything went smoothly, got a premium for 400 - 100 rebate.

They have one of those one year 'if anything happens to your box bring it here we'll replace it on the spot' warranties for 35 bucks. I optioned for that too, just because I've read enough horror stories and that will help me sleep better at night.

Now I just wish it was closer to thanksgiving break so I could go home and play it.... :(

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

I'm getting the core for $200. Screw the HD and wireless controller (I'm hooking it up to my pc monitor anyways).

WIth the extra $100 I'm getting GoW and Forza 2 when they drop down in price a bit.

I just got back from microcenter.

I scored a 360 core, with tax it came out to $317.99. The sales guy was really nice, he even printed out the rebate form. He tried to sell me a warranty and asked me if I needed anything else.

Come on now, I went in because of the $200 price I'm not going to be spending a cent more lol. :D

I live in kansas city mo - 15 minutes away....and can verify this deal exists...I went to microcenter today and got the flier...thought about buying one and selling it on ebay, but 50 bucks after fees and after waiting for a rebate isn't really worth my time.

The Core's $100 After Rebate @ CompUSA on Black Friday, it seems. That might have been with purchase/activation of a new Razr though.

Yeah, the deal at CompUSA is that if you buy buy a razr from cingular, verizon, or t-mobile AND sign a 2 year contract, you get a $200 rebate that you can use anywhere in the store, which brings down the core price to $100.

It's a great deal for anybody who currently doesn't have a cell phone or is looking to switch carries and isn't under contract, provided they want a razr.....but that's a completely different subject for another time.

Side note: great to see so many [H]'ers from the KC area!

Oh yeah, it's definitely awesome if you don't have a plan right now. Actually, it's very nice...assuming 2-year contract doesn't mean "2-year $70/mo plan contract", but means "2-year any-monthly-plan contract").

I just came back from the Santa Clara Micro Center (with a Premium!)... they had 294 at 10am, when I left at 4:30pm they had 13. Hah.

Just picked mine up this afternoon. I also got the 2-year warranty from them for $60, so all-in-all, I will pay $390 for a premium, and warranty for 2-years. I wasn't too mad about that, considering, if I waited until price drop, I may have only been about $40 with a 1year warranty. YAY!

As for games, I bought Test Drive Unlimited and Madden 06(USED). TDU is nuts. I LOVE that game, and it is tied for the best Test Drive game IMO. It only rivals Test Drive Le Mans.
