8800GTX/Conroe Benchmarks

thats pretty good. I don't know I was kind of expecting more.

Plus hes using a really good CPU, and im using an E6600 running at 2.9ghz meaning ill probably get like 10k in 3dmark06 with one of these.
 
should see better results with newer drivers but no matter. waiting on this until ATI releases. need a new mobo tho.
 
By Xmas I will be sitting on a G80 / E6600 machine overclocked balls to the walls on air.

I'm already there with a 3.6GHz E6600, just need the 8800GTX now. :)

Awesome. I get 6k 3d06 marks, with my high overclocked 7800GT.

The GTS should do at least 12k with some good drivers, maybe 13k with a good OC...

1440 x 900, Full HDR, AA, AS, Super High Quality textures, and all graphics tweaks on highest... :eek: Cmon Christmas!

yeah , ok ,

ull be lucky if that gts thing hits 10k , and thats overclocked ,
maybe the gtx will hit 12k but dont count on it

That I don't think he will be willing to say. I do know that he buys all of his gear and does not have direct contacts but friends in the industry.

That's extremely low for your setup. I have SLI'd XFX 7800 GT Extreme Editions and I do 8100 or so in 3DMark06 consistently. You should have near the same.





 
If you check the 3dmark montage, you'll see he's running WindowsXP. Which means this is with DX9.0c, not DX10, or DX9L.

I'm not going to say Yeaaaah! or Boooo! until I see it running on vista with DX10.

Seriously though, do you want me to ask him to run at about 3gigs? Me and him get along quite well, too bad he cannot oc vid card yet. He's in the process of modding utilities I believe.

Uhm, yeah, what a lucky bastard... quad Kentsfield AND a 8800GTX :p.

With your brilliant setup, does it run many games with the quad core 2?
