Im gonnna be getting the retail access combo and am looking for something quiet to put it in.
The specs will be:
intel e6300
intel mobo
7600gt
4gb dd667
1x 250gb sata II hard drive
have not decided psu yet.

I was looking at the antec p180 but it seems like it doesnt support a lot of psu's. So i just was looking for some input thanks guys. Also please try and keep it under $200. I reallt like that zalman fatality one is there something similar but no soooo expensive?

Aside from the super expensive cases the P180 is a good choice. I am using a seasonic 500W SLI PSU in the system and it works like a charm. The length is almost perfect and just long enough with the motherboard I choose (the power is in the upper right) with even enough room to run the power along the side of the motherboard. The only reason it does not "support" a lot of PSU is that it is so far down many do not have a long enough main power to reach.

If you are really concerned about length just get one of the extender cables.

I'll second the Sonata. Currently using it myself and I don't even know my computer is on unless I look at the LED's. I just bought the Antec Solo case which I've heard is a pretty silent case as well so you might want to look into that one.

Im not really sure if I like the sonata I might look at the p65 lian-li. I really like the zalman fatality is there something that looks close to that but not as much?

If you get a Lian Li plan on replacing the stock fans and getting some sound dampening material for the panels if you want a "quiet" case.

Most cases will do ya fine especially the ones suggested above. A lot of the noise is due to fans, and fan placement. Get some high quality fans with low db ratings and lower the voltage on them.

Just read the reviews. Allthough it is a bit more expensive than the ones you posted, it is amazingly quiet, sturdy, and efficient at cooling your parts all at the same time. Also in my opinion, it is one of the coolest looking cases you can get.

go for a seasonic s12 psu (500 watts will work for your system, so the s12 500)

PC Mag just did a review on quieting the Antec Sonata 2, and they got it down below like 29db, very very good.....it would be my first thought and price is great, then you have more to spend on other quiet parts...

The P180 is gunna be your best bet IMO.

Its the one that I am getting for my E6300 rig as well and From the looks of it and from what I have heard its MASSIVELY heavey and thick and what keeps it quite is the layer of foam plastic in the panels that keep it quite. It also has excellent case circulation thanks to its LOTS of fans that it COMES WITH :D
