Macbook Pros with Glossy screen look soooo much better

So I went down to the local apple store to checkout the macbook pro and the ones with glossy screen looked so much better. I had already purchased a matte screen one on ebay a few days earlier but when I saw how much more vibrant the screen was, I quickly went on eBay and purchased the glossy screen version. Anyone feel the same way?
 
My concern is using them outside. I'd be afraid the glare would be horrible. Or using them indoors over fluroescent lighting, that the lights would refelct off the screen.

That's one thing I like about my Powerbook screen.

First time I saw the glossy screen I felt the same way. BUT I ordered my MBP with a matte finish because constantly adjusting the glossy screen to accommodate the glare would drive me crazy. If only the glossy screen didn't have the annoying glare.
 
I can't stand specular highlights, so the glossy finish is out for me. Personally I found the matte screen produces more natural looking colors, the glossy screen just looks over saturated. I'll be going with a matte screen for my upcoming MBP.
 
there is no need to be afraid about the glare, just find any laptop with a glare screen and test it (this is old and very common tech)

the glare would probably be bad in sunlight obviously
 
We have 2 users with the glossy screened notebooks. It's bad with the flourescent lights. One user hooks up to an External LCD, and the other has re-arranged her office to put her back to a wall and maintenance has disabled the lights overhead and behind her.

Not to mention that every office has a window that is 4' tall, and runs the entire length of the wall.
 
Actually i had the matte screen and when the glossy screen came out i returned it and got the glossy. I will never go back. the glossy screen is much much more beautiful. I use mine in an office environment as well as various other places (its used for business). And other than direct sunlight. It doesnt bother me at all. Iv used both versions of screens (from other companies). and by far i like the glossy thats why i switched when it cam out.
 
I have a glossy MBP.

It's niiice. I like it better than my matte pbg4, and matte compaq notebook.

I also use mine in a wide variety of places, and I don't usually have a problem with glare unless the light is all up in my grill.
