Warm Woot $200 JVC camcorder

Dunno much about it, I'm sure it doesn't do anything amazing. But it's $200 and a camcorder. www.woot.com

I used to have a similar tiny JVC camcorder. The sensor quality on mine was pretty good, so there's a chance that this one might also be a good performer. It's very small, fits in a cargo pocket; turning it on then shutting the LCD puts it to sleep, and opening the LCD wakes it up in just a couple seconds. What this means is that you can just carry it around with you rather easily, then quickly pull it out and be shooting video. The downside to the small size is that you get pretty crazy barrel distortion.

is that a levitating cat on the screen it looks way better than my sony which i got years ago for like $500.. damn that hurts
