Dell M1210

Finally! A 12-inch notebook with dedicated graphics! Granted, it's not a screamer in terms of performance, but it'll certainly work as a great all-around computer when portability is a major consideration.

However, considering the proliferation of LCD monitors, a DVI output should've been included.

indeed, but with that battery life, and power, I'll deal with it.
edit: stupid dell doesn't seem to like my dell plan card application thing, so it might up to a month before I can order. That fucking sucks.

IBM's X31 and X32 both had dedicated 16mb Radeon Mobility cards...wasn't much, but I could play BF42 with my X31...

A 12-inch notebook with discrete graphics was certainly a bold move and an effective way for Dell to stand out in the crowd. However, I would have rather seen a thinner 13.3-inch notebook with the same capabilities to compete with the likes of Asus and Sony. Certainly, Dell's offering would compete favorably with Asus and Sony in terms of price, and arguably, customer service.

Yeah, I'm waiting for a 13" notebook from Dell. If not, I'll probably jump on the D620...

I would like to get one, but my 700m isn't even a year old yet. A little to soon to replace it.
